Jeannie Yandel is a longtime public media journalist who cannot get rid of her Chicago accent, even though she’s lived in Seattle for more than two decades. Eula Scott Bynoe is a full-time Black woman and mother and a birth doula and equity educator. And yes, Eula does rhyme with doula.

Eula and Jeannie love Steven Universe, Harry Potter (but definitely not its author), and Dick’s Drive-In. They disagree about whether to get tartar sauce for their fries.
